Andrew's winter concert- and throw up?
We learned something new about Drew at his concert. He gets REALLY nervous. The preschool classes went up and sang their songs and Andrew kindof sang and kind of made funny faces the whole time. After they were done singing, they all went to sit down together where I am told that Drew told his teacher he needed his mommy shortly before throwing up all over her. Mrs. Tracy took him back to the room and changed his clothes where I found him. (She had not changed yet). She was really nice about it and made us feel like it wasn't a big deal. She was the one that told us that she didn't think he was sick at all, just really nervous. We took him home where he threw up one more time, but didn't act sick at all. The next day he was totally fine also. Those butterflies that most people get in their stomachs must be more like bats for him. At least now we know!
Matching PJs
Matt's mom gets matching PJs for the kids every year. I love this tradition! The really fun part is sitting them all together and trying to get them to all look at the camera at the same time. We always have some funny pictures, fingers up the nose, pushing the person next to them, etc. So, I couldn't pick just one. Here are a few of the best! Oh- my favorite is the one where we said, "Quick, kiss someone!"
Thanksgiving Dinner
Emily worked all day in the kitchen to make a huge dinner. It was sooooooooo good. Inevitably, as we were still eating the boys went and turned on the treadmill and were trying to run on it, but the fun had to stop when Gio fell and got some bad burns. After careful bandaging, he felt much better...
Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade
We got to spend Thanksgiving in NYC with Matt's family and it was a lot of fun. 7 kids (6 boys) keeps everything crazy, but luckily they have a BIG apartment! Emily lives on the corner of 46th and 9th so we only have to walk a couple blocks over to Times Square to watch a little of the parade. We eat hot dogs and try not to freeze! It is great (for a while), then we are happy to watch the rest on the TV and chill out at the apartment!

MATCH DAY!!!!!!
I have a lot of things to blog about, but I couldn't wait to put this on. Today was the orthodontic residency match day... and we are going to Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN! Matt has worked so hard for this. It wasn't his #1 choice, but it was in his top 4 and he really had a hard time ranking them. They were all really good schools, so we are totally excited! It is a 3 year program, but it will also be a little more relaxed so we can see Matt more, and they give you a stipend (so we won't be so tight on money or have to take out more loans!) AND it is in a really nice area with good schools, etc. Not to mention it will be warmer! Hooray Matt!!!! Now I'm off to google everything about the place!
