Matthew's 6th birthday

XBOX games are probably his favorite thing to do.















Playing with Pokemon cards is a close second- as you can see by the look on his face when a friend gave him some more!















We had yellow (Pikachu colored) cake.

















He got awesome presents from his friends.
















A party at Chuck E. Cheese was really a breeze.















Playing games. This is his best friend in his Kindergarten class- Elija.















Matt and I mostly just watched as the kids entertained themselves.

Today is Matthew's 6th birthday. I can't believe I'm old enough to have a 6 yr old! We celebrated everything yesterday (Saturday). He had Dunkin Donuts for breakfast and got to open one present (Hulk smash hands). Then we went to Chuck E. Cheese for a real party with his brothers and friends. This is the first year we've really let Matthew have a party. He got to pick the invitations (pokemon), friends, place, everything. He loved it. His friends Chauncy, Elijah, Joshua, Wesley, Grant, and Tyler all came. They played games, games, games, had pizza and cake, opened presents, and played more games! Matthew got some great presents. We gave all the kids a couple pokemon cards as party favors. A fun time was had by all, and I didn't even have to clean my house afterward! Today (Sunday) I'm letting him pick meals and activities to do during the day with his family. His daddy left this morning for his last ortho interview in Philadelphia- but Owen is sick and we couldn't go to church, so he gets everyone else's attention all day long. Hooray for birthdays!
