Palmyra

On the way back to OH we drove up through Palmyra, NY. David was on his mission when we went with my family before. It was great to see everything again and engrave the place a little more in my heart. I'm so grateful to be able to visit the hill Cumorah where Moroni showed the plates to a young boy, Joseph, and the Sacred Grove where Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ. This time we took the tour of the printing press where the Book of Mormon was first published. All of these places have one thing in common- truth. All of these events were meant to restore God's truth in its fullness to the earth. Seeing where it all began in our dispensation was a great way for David to end his mission- that and stopping by Ohio to see Matt and Matthew (who couldn't come to PA with us)!
